No child should grow up hungry.
One in four people in a soup kitchen line is a child, and more than one in three households served by food pantries include children. And while millions of people in our country are affected by it, children face the additional risk of suffering long-term effects due to malnutrition. Malnourished children suffer from higher infant mortality rates, stunted growth, and iron deficiency anemia, and are at a greater risk of failing in school and at work. But by raising awareness and creating grassroots solutions in our local communities, we can make a difference.
The Sodexo Foundation is helping fight childhood hunger through the Feeding Our Future® program.
