Feeding Our Future® - San Jose
Since 2003, Feeding Our Future® has been supporting children in the San Jose area. Funds raised have helped feed hungry children through a partnership between Feeding Our Future®, the Sodexo Foundation and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
Summer should be a fun time for youngsters excited to be out of school. Unfortunately, millions of children face hunger during the summer because the free or reduced-price school meals they need end with the last day of classes.
To help with this problem, Sodexo proudly provides free, nutritious lunches to needy children through our eight-to-ten week summer Feeding Our Future program. This resourceful program donates food and labor necessary to provide summer lunches to children who would otherwise go hungry.
Feeding Our Future - San Jose launched in 2003, with the direct support of funds raised at the annual Northern California Golf Invitational for Charity. To date, this tournament has raised more than $1.3 million for the Sodexo Foundation, Feeding Our Future, and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
