Sodexo is one of the nation’s largest donors of surplus food to Feeding America members. Surplus perishable and non-perishable food is collected and donated through programs such as Caring Cans and Sodexo Cans Across America.

Food donations play a critical role in fighting hunger. That's why Sodexo, Inc. is one of the largest donors of surplus perishable and non-perishable food to Feeding America members. In fact, many of our 6,000 account locations donate surplus food by distributing it to their local Second Harvest members. In addition, we've created other food donation programs, including Caring Cans, an initiative that encourages donations of non-perishable food items at hundreds of Sodexo locations, and Sodexo Helping Hands Across America, an annual company-wide food drive coordinated by Sodexo Campus Services.
