Look outside at the four kids playing in your neighborhood, one of them won’t have a solid meal at dinner tonight. 17 million American children don’t know where their next meal will come from, if there is one. That’s one in four children!

The Sodexo Foundation, in partnership with Youth Service America, is offering $500 Youth Grants for youth-led service projects focused on childhood hunger and to increase community awareness around the issue.

25 grants will be awarded nationwide. Additional information, including requirements, can be found at www.ysa.org/grants. Applications are due September 16, 2011.
