Providing food during natural and humanitarian disasters

As the source of an increasing number of natural disasters, the climatic emergency is a fact: drought, fires, storms, floods are causing declining crops, water scarcity and the displacement of populations which, as in Africa and Asia, are also confronted with conflicts and local economic collapse.

Food is, and will remain, at the center of these climatic and humanitarian crises.

aideurgence001.jpgAn emergency fund of more than USD 400,000 was created in 2014, enabling rapid mobilization in response to the time factor, which can be critical in disaster situations.
The objective: To provide vital food aid to survivors or distressed populations quickly: distribution of food stamps or essential food items (energy biscuits, rice, legumes, oil, etc.).
